1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your session, preferences, and (where allowed) usage patterns. “Similar technologies” include local storage and pixels used for the same kinds of purposes.
2. How SnapSell uses cookies
We group cookies roughly as follows:
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function—for example session cookies that keep you logged in to the admin or creator areas, security tokens, load balancing, and cookie consent storage.
- Functional: remember choices such as language or UI preferences.
- Analytics (optional): help us understand traffic and errors in aggregate. We aim to use privacy-respecting settings (e.g. IP anonymisation) where the tool allows.
- Marketing (optional): only if we enable such tools and you consent where required by law.
3. Third parties
Payment providers and embedded content may set their own cookies when you interact with checkout or widgets. Their use is governed by their respective policies. We do not control those cookies but choose providers that meet our security expectations.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of SnapSell (including login and checkout) may not work. Where we offer a cookie banner or preference centre, you can adjust optional categories there.
5. Do Not Track
There is no consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals. We treat optional analytics and marketing in line with applicable law and any consent you give on our site.
6. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our practices change. For more on how we use personal data, see our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@snapsell.com.
