Frequently asked questions
Quick answers for buyers and sellers using SnapSell—from checkout and delivery to access windows and payouts.
For buyers
How do I download what I bought?
After payment completes, you’ll land on your purchase success page for that gallery. Use the download buttons there for each file. You’ll also get a confirmation email with a link back to the same page while your access window is active.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. You checkout with your email and payment details. Access is tied to your purchase confirmation and the secure link in your email—not a separate buyer account on our site.
How long can I access my downloads?
Each seller’s gallery shows how long downloads stay available (for example, a number of hours from when the order completes). After that window, you’ll need to purchase again to regain access.
I lost my link. Can I get it again?
Use the “resend” or recovery flow from your confirmation email if the seller enabled it, or contact the creator directly with your receipt. Links only work while your order is paid and inside the download window.
For sellers
How do I start selling?
Log in to your dashboard, create a gallery or collection, upload files, set a price, and share your public link. Buyers see a polished package page and checkout experience that matches SnapSell.
How do payments and fees work?
Buyers pay through the gateways your workspace has enabled (for example, card providers). Platform and payment processing fees may apply depending on your plan and region—check your dashboard or payout settings for the breakdown that applies to you.
What file types can I sell?
You can package digital files buyers download after purchase—photos, videos, documents, audio, and similar assets. What you’re allowed to sell must comply with our terms and applicable law.
Can buyers share my files?
Downloads are intended for the purchaser. Technical measures like time-limited access and secure delivery reduce casual sharing but cannot guarantee perfect copy protection. Use watermarks or licensing terms where that matters for your work.
Security & privacy
Is checkout secure?
Checkout uses industry-standard encryption and trusted payment processors. We don’t display full card numbers on your storefront pages, and payment data is handled according to provider best practices.
What data do you collect?
We process the information needed to complete purchases, deliver files, and run the service—such as email for receipts and operational logs. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
